I'm currently a visiting senior undergraduate student in Robb's group, from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). Broadly speaking, my interests mainly focus on the quantum gravity, especially the black hole information theory, which is aimed at constructing a compatible theory for GR and QM. Before coming to Waterloo I've done some basic research on the Q-ball (or non-topological solitons), which originates from the supersymmetric field theory and is hopeful to be the candidate of dark matter. More recently, I've been engaged in phase structure analysis into black hole/soliton transition under the guidance of Prof. Robert B. Mann, including the quantum black holes and AdS black holes in Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet gravity.
