I’m Jiayue Yang, a PhD student in Applied Mathematics at the University of Waterloo and an Associate Graduate Student at the Perimeter Institute and the Institute for Quantum Computing. I work closely with Robert B. Mann on topics at the intersection of quantum information and quantum gravity.
My recent research explores ideas ranging from analogue black holes to holographic complexity and black hole thermodynamics. I’m broadly interested in how quantum information concepts can deepen our understanding of gravitational physics and potentially connect to experimentally realizable systems.
